No surprise that rival studios chose to stay away from a second helping of Strange 2, as the summer’s true #1 film (global consensus) is projected to pull in another $68M and push $300M total over the first 10 days. Firestarter already couldn’t compete, and with that additional Peacock streaming it’ll be lucky to see $5M.

Side note… Sony just announced that they are sliding back Bullet Train one week to an 8/5 opening date. But no need to stress as it distanced itself from Nope and has very little competition in the month of August.
