Another monstrous blockbuster is on the way, and Jurassic World Dominion is projected to gobble up $150M this weekend. Jurassic World (2015) and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) opened to $208M and $148M respectively, and slotting the final film in the trilogy between the first two is interesting knowing the terrible critic reviews it’s getting. What really needs to be asked is will Dominion take a bite out of Top Gun 2’s ridiculous tracking, or will it be the other way around? Top Gun 2 was projected for $57M in its second weekend, and after actually earning $90M they’ve now got its third weekend projection at… $57M. It’s quite possible that we see two movies hit $400M by Sunday night.

Boxoffice.com’s predictions for this weekend:
1) Jurassic World Dominion – 150.4M (150.4M)
