This weekend we get the return of Pixar to the box office… but the critics aren’t impressed. Lightyear is their 26th feature film, however its current rating of 79% fresh would place it at only at #21 on the RT Tomatometer Pixar rankings, falling right bewtween Monsters University (80%) and Brave (78%). Is it really as bad as one critic calling it “empty and pointless overall”? Or another stating “Lightyear feels like that horrible moment when you broke a much-loved toy.” I guess someone needs a hug. In the immortal words of Sgt. Hulka…

Side note – who knew that all three Cars films were bottom-three on that list?? I call BS as the first one is MUCH better than some of the films ahead of it.
