Summer 2023 has familiar feeling as we get another Marvel adventure to kick things off. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 isn’t expected to match last summer’s explosive opening of $187M for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but $115M will do for the 18 of us that placed it at #1. Yes, a fresh 82% Rotten Tomatoes rating plus an ‘A’ CinemaScore will do just fine, thank you.  Unfortunately for 1 person, this was not a unanimous selection. Oops! I’m doing my best not to read/see/hear ANYTHING until I get back home in nine days. Gonna be tough.

And for a bit of counter-programming we also have Love Again. The critics, however, are not as impressed. Good thing no one picked it.
