The weekend’s Actuals are in, and GOTG3 crushed it with a better-than-projected $118M. Sure, it didn’t do as well as GOTG2’s $146M, but it was still better than GOTG1’s $94M. Ok, putting it into greater perspective it was only the #17 opening among all Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films. But hey, this was still a better performance than the most-recent Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. 37 of us can rejoice!

Next Weekend: 3 movies go Wide, and the only one selected is the animated Rally Road Racers. I haven’t seen a trailer or even a commercial for it… sooooooo that’s not good.
